12. EXkurogane posted on yesterday, 22:14 3

Never drop a tablet, no matter who made it. If you never drop a laptop because you are always careful, then there are no reasons why you should drop a tablet.

17. shikroi posted on yesterday, 22:49 0

Dropped both my transformers multiple times and they still work. The prime has a cracked screen though, but that's only because it fell directly on the corner and due to the smaller point of contact the force was greater. This caused the corner of the housing to fail, thus putting all the force on the glass itself, which caused the glass to crack from that corner and spread four big cracks across the screen. Still works like a charm(this was after dropping it multiple times).

18. Sniggly posted on yesterday, 22:50 6

Did I say you couldn't say stupid things?

Of course I didn't.

27. omarr posted on yesterday, 23:45 1

Well I didnt write anything stupid

29. Sniggly posted on yesterday, 23:47 0

But of course you did, silly. You whined that Android fans would come in and "make excuses." What do we need to make excuses for? I don't think anyone expected the Nexus 7 to be a tank, and no one posting has really expressed shock that it broke so easily upon being dropped from "several feet."

Therefore, you were being unnecessarily antagonistic. You can keep doing that, of course, but I'm going to call you out on it.

16. omarr posted on yesterday, 22:40 0

Shut Up .
It is my comment and I can right whatever I want

20. PapaSmurf posted on yesterday, 23:03 3

Note to self: If I'm losing an argument, I'll just repeat myself. Hopefully it'll work.

Side note, I don't think Sniggly has lost an argument on this site. Even against the #1 troll in history, Taco50.

22. Sniggly posted on yesterday, 23:12 0

I may have. I'm not always right. I'm also willing to change my views. For instance, I was a specs junkie like almost everyone on this site until the final information on Motorola's new phones. Now that I've seen and understand what they've done I've come to realize that highest specs aren't everything, especially if the phone pushes boundaries in other directions.

24. Droid_X_Doug posted on yesterday, 23:17 2

I am still withholding my opinion on the new Moto phones. I want to learn how the new phones work compared to the current 'other' flagship phones.

25. Sniggly posted on yesterday, 23:33 1

Do you mean in terms of their performance handling tasks, or their battery life? Knowing that the new Moto phones have more muscle than the S3 with a lot less bulls**t bloat holding them down, and knowing that the Razr M gets crazy good battery life, I think they'll do great. The only thing I'm worried about is the camera. Motorola hasn't gotten a camera right in a phone since the original Droid X.

28. omarr posted on yesterday, 23:46 1

I had a problem with my Internet naked ass

9. faisolbauuz posted on yesterday, 22:08 0

What excuse ?
Nexus 7 is not a rugged tablet so it will break if you try to drop it on concrete
So its pretty normal its broken
And i wont complain for a tablet around 200$ to be broken if i dropped it to concrete and break considering it specs

19. gazmatic posted on yesterday, 22:53 4

my god... the comments are getting dangerous

who actually expected a 200 tablet to survive a drop?

just buy a gaddam case

this whole race to the slimmest is counterproductive

at least nokia phones are built like tanks

21. PapaSmurf posted on yesterday, 23:05 0

Who buys a tablet and doesn't buy a case for it? I feel no sympathy for people with cracked phones. If you're really right on money, Amazon has cases for $5.

30. softfurryanus posted on yesterday, 23:48 0

I agree, I hate the thin stuff they keep pumping out as selling features. Would I rather have a 7mm phone or a 10-11mm phone with a big battery that's more durable, obviously the bigger battery. That being said I feel most drop tests are absurd, if you're dumb enough to drop your tablet/smartphone enough to do serious damage don't buy one at all, I only care if it starts breaking for no reason.

26. Gaurav008 posted on yesterday, 23:35 4

OMG! What will I do now? This is a dealbreaker for me. You see, I always tend to play catch-catch with my smartphones and tablets. I don't miss catches usually. But I need an assurance however that, the device I am going to buy is well-built, not neccesarily like a tank but well built.
Who cares about the device and its software optimizations right? Therefore, I am not going buy the new Nexus 7. Not worth it. Thank you PA for asking. :3 /s

Chapter 7

TIP! Don?t hide from your friends and family while you go through bankruptcy. The bankruptcy process can be brutal.

The two main kinds of bankruptcy are Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. Make sure you understand them so you know what is best for you. All debt will be eliminated with Chapter 7. Your former ties with creditors will cease to exist. Bankruptcy under the rules of Chapter 13, on the other hand, require you to work out a payment arrangement to pay back the agreed upon amounts. Considering several different lawyers can help find someone to trust.

TIP! If you have a co-debtor, consider the ramifications that filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy will have. When filing Chapter 7, you are not legally responsible for the debts in your name.

Most states allow for the majority of debt to be included on a bankruptcy. If you are told by a debt collector that your debts are not dischargeable, make a record of your conversation and report the individual to the proper state authorities.

Prior to filing for bankruptcy, purge from your vocabulary the word ?shame?. Bankruptcy can sometimes leave people feeling guilty, ashamed and alone. However, having this feeling about yourself isn?t going to help anybody, and your health could even be compromised. If you are filing for bankruptcy and you are thinking negatively about the situation, make an effort to stop that now.

Samsung Galaxy Folder flaunts its dualscreen flip design for the camera

Samsung may have already spoiled the Galaxy Folder's upcoming launch, but it hasn't given us a peek at a real, live device. Contributors to Clien.net's forums claim to have what we're missing, however -- they've posted a trio of photos that appear to reveal the dual-screen Android clamshell in earnest. In line with the schematics we saw earlier, the Galaxy Folder should be an evolution of the W2013 from last fall. Its most visible change is an update to Galaxy S 4-era software. Other new external elements amount to subtle tweaks, such as the gold-like side trim and a camera key that replaces the W2013's dual-SIM button. Not that we'd accuse Samsung of playing it safe with the Galaxy Folder -- in a conservative handset market, it could be daring to produce an LTE-equipped Android flip phone in the first place.

Obama tees off into birthday weekend with golf

WASHINGTON (AP) ? President Barack Obama kicked off his birthday weekend with a round of golf Saturday and planned to spend time with friends at Camp David.

Obama, who turns 52 on Sunday, left the White House unusually early for the half-hour trip by motorcade to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland to squeeze in some golf before the celebration was to shift to the presidential retreat.

The White House said there were three golfing foursomes, which included some of Obama's friends from Hawaii, where he grew up, and Chicago, where he lived before becoming president, as well as current and former aides.

Among them were childhood friends Bobby Titcomb and Mike Ramos, and Chicago pals Marty Nesbitt and Eric Whitaker. White House aides Marvin Nicholson and Sam Kass, an assistant chef, rounded out the group, along with Reggie Love, who for years had been Obama's personal assistant, or "body man," and basketball buddy until he left the White House in late 2011 to finish the course work for an MBA.

The White House said little about how Obama would celebrate on Sunday, but the birthday wishes started rolling in early.

House Democrats presented Obama with a birthday cake when he went up to the Capitol this week, and American Legion youth members sang "Happy Birthday" to him during a White House visit late last month.

For last year's birthday, which fell during his heated campaign for re-election, Obama also celebrated with a round of golf and quiet time at Camp David, proving that he is a creature of habit. But he later held several birthday-themed campaign fundraisers in Chicago, including one at his family's South Side home.

Obama is scheduled to return to the White House on Sunday.
